24 Chapter XXIV: The Ambassadors of the Ashram

In Chapter XXIV, Vicente Beltrán-Anglada details the internal "diplomatic" structure of the Hierarchy, revealing how Ashrams communicate and share evolutionary codes through specialized human and Deva representatives.

Just as there exist “envoys” or ambassadors among the spiritual Lodges of the planets—those hidden fraternities that maintain cosmic communication—so too does every Ashram possess its own mystical body of emissaries. These beings, human and deva, sustain the Ashram’s living connection with the other Ashrams of the Hierarchy.

The author explains that his beloved Brother R. served as one such ambassador. Along with other highly evolved initiates and exalted angels, R. represented their Master in the principal Ashrams of the great Chohans of the Rays. His task was to observe, absorb, and transmit the teaching codes of those Ashrams back to his own. He once told the disciples that all of them, in time, must become Ashramic ambassadors, for this greatly eases the work of the Adept who presides over the Ashram.

Jezasel, speaking from the angelic perspective, confirmed this same principle. In the deva kingdom, he too served as an ambassador of the Master. With other radiant angels, and empowered by the Master’s secret credentials, Jezasel possessed the ability to formulate new mantras of construction and refinement for the subtle auras of the Ashram. From his elevated deva vantage, he could perceive the geometric networks of higher Ashrams and use that knowledge to help build the evolving networks of their own.

The author acknowledges that these ideas may seem strange or mysterious to the reader. Yet he reminds us that he is describing occult levels and profoundly subjective conditions, using the most concrete language he can extract from his own spiritual experience. He invites the reader to reflect seriously on a series of questions:

  • What do we truly know about the Ashrams of the Hierarchy?

  • What is the place of an Ashram within the larger hierarchical scheme?

  • Do we understand the methods of teaching and the solar laws that govern spiritual training?

  • Have we considered the Ashram through the lens of universal analogy?

  • Have we encountered in any esoteric book explanations as concrete—despite the subject’s inherent subtlety—as those presented here?

He encourages the reader to answer these questions with intelligence and sincerity, and only then to judge the value of the arguments. He concludes by saying that a main purpose in this Diario Secreto de un Discípulo is to “explain facts.” The judgment of those facts belongs to the reader.

Keynotes

  • The Mystic Body of Relation: Just as planets have solar envoys, each Ashram maintains a body of "ambassadors" (high-level Initiates and Angels) to establish links with other Ashrams within the Hierarchy.

  • Brother R. as Ambassador: The author’s mentor, Brother R., serves as a primary ambassador. His mission involves representing the Master in the Ashrams of the great Ray Chohanes to observe their progress and transmit specific "teaching codes" back to their own Ashram.

  • Jesazel’s Deva Diplomacy: The Angel Jesazel acts as the Master’s Deva ambassador. Using "secret credentials," he observes the geometric networks of superior Ashrams to construct specific etheric webs for the evolving spheres of the author's Ashram.

  • Facilitating the Adept: The author notes that every disciple is destined to eventually become an "Ashramic ambassador," as this role significantly relieves the Master (the Adept) of the administrative burden of inter-Ashramic communication.

  • Objective of the Revelations: Beltrán-Anglada acknowledges that these subjective facts may seem strange. He challenges readers to use universal analogy to judge the validity of these insights, stating his sole mission is to "explain facts" rather than offer subjective opinions.

Summary

Entity Role & Function
Brother R. Human ambassador; acquires awareness of higher Ashramic developments and education codes.
Angel Jesazel Deva ambassador; formulates construction mantras to ennoble the Ashram's subtle auras.
Ray Chohans The heads of the primary Ashrams, from whom lower Ashrams receive instructional blueprints.
Geometric Networks The underlying etheric structures of the Ashram that ambassadors help build and maintain.

A Call to Discernment

The author concludes by posing a series of rhetorical questions to the reader regarding the nature of Hierarchy, solar laws, and spiritual training. He suggests that the concreteness of his descriptions — despite the subjectivity of the subject — is intended to provide a more practical understanding of the Path than is typically found in esoteric literature.
