10 Chapter X: A Human-Deva Teaching Hall
In Chapter X, Vicente Beltrán-Anglada describes a remarkable visit to an esoteric school where the human and deva kingdoms merge their learning processes under the guidance of the Hierarchy.
A few years after the author and his companions had been admitted into the Hall of Knowledge and had completed certain stages of their training, the Master informed them that a special experience awaited them. At their next gathering, seven disciples—carefully chosen—would not remain in the familiar hall where they usually received esoteric instruction. Instead, they would visit a Teaching Hall shared by humans and devas, a place where, for the first time, they would be able to “alternate” directly with angelic beings of similar or even superior evolution.
The Master explained that this School existed on the astral plane, at a level higher than the one the disciples normally reached. He would accompany them, for although they would not participate directly in the instruction, they were to observe with the deepest attention. To facilitate the journey, he asked them to fast throughout the day until physical rest, so that their astral displacement would be unhindered.
On the appointed day, the seven selected disciples gathered in the great hall. The rest of the group continued their usual training under Brother R., an initiate of higher degree and the Master’s lieutenant. Then, guided by the Master, the chosen seven were transported to the astral School. The author notes that although the astral plane transcends physical time, the School nonetheless occupies a definite “place” within that dimension—a region accessible only through conscious movement in the fourth dimension and through esoteric understanding of the fifth. What truly allows the soul to function there is the state of serene expectancy, the pure attention that opens perception in those subtle realms still hidden from humanity despite scientific progress.
Upon arriving, they were greeted by an angelic Being of graceful presence and a luminous sky‑blue aura. Bowing reverently before the Master, the deva indicated where the disciples should stand. As their perceptions sharpened, they began to distinguish numerous radiant figures—some human, some angelic. The humans were initiates from various Ashrams; the devas were celestial beings attending the School according to their spiritual rank. All stood together in harmonious groups, their auras shimmering with affection, understanding, and unity.
Then the atmosphere shifted. The Bodhisattva appeared at the center of the hall, and instantly the groups dissolved and re‑formed into two concentric circles around Him: the devas forming the inner ring, the human initiates the outer. Beside the Bodhisattva stood Masters K.H. and D.K., assisting Him in this extraordinary session of esoteric instruction. Other Masters had also brought their disciples to witness this event, which served as a preparation for the future entrance into the Hall of Wisdom of Shamballa. The author emphasizes that these Human–Deva Schools are truly the gateways to those supreme Aulas.
The Bodhisattva’s presence was overwhelming. Wrapped in His radiant aura, with the five‑pointed star shining above His golden hair—the emblem of the Perfected Man—He emanated a love, peace, and serenity beyond description. He spoke in a melodious voice using the ancient Pali tongue, the language of the earliest sacred scriptures, chosen for its subtle vibrational qualities suited to this exalted teaching.
As He taught, the auras of both circles grew brighter, more vibrant, and more dynamic. A powerful spiritual current filled the hall. Then, in a moment outside of time, the Bodhisattva fell silent. The stillness was so profound that the very ethers seemed to tremble with it. Lifting His head, He pronounced a mighty, incomprehensible Mantram. At its conclusion, something extraordinary occurred: the two circles—human and deva—merged into one. A burst of peace, love, and harmony swept through the hall. The auras of angels and humans fused into a single radiant field. For a timeless instant, the two kingdoms shared one life, one consciousness, one vibration.
When the ceremony ended, the Master explained that this was the purpose of the School: to prepare both devas and humans for the great reconciliation of the two kingdoms, a union that would one day be fully realized in the Hall of Wisdom. The disciples had been invited merely as observers, but the experience awakened in them the serene expectancy of the day when they would return as active, conscious participants in that sacred work.
Keynotes
The Esoteric School: The Master led a group of seven disciples to an elevated level of the astral plane to observe a "Human-Deva School." Accessing this location requires conscious displacement in the fourth dimension and esoteric knowledge of the fifth.
The Presence of the Bodhisattva: The school was presided over by the Bodhisattva (Maitreya), assisted by Masters Koot Humi (K.H.) and Djwal Khul (D.K.). The Bodhisattva appeared with a five-pointed star shining above his golden hair, radiating indescribable peace.
The Language of the Gods: The Bodhisattva taught in Pali, an ancient sacred tongue older than Sanskrit and Sanzar, chosen for its specific phonetic qualities that resonate with both angels and men.
The Act of Reconciliation: The ceremony culminated in the chanting of a powerful mantra, causing the separate circles of Angels and Initiates to explode into a single unified field of light. This fusion allowed both kingdoms to participate directly in each other's lives.
Preparation for Shamballa: These unification schools serve as the "gates" to the more advanced Hall of Wisdom in Shamballa.
