18 Chapter XVIII: First Contact with Angel Jesazel

In Chapter XVIII, Vicente Beltrán-Anglada recounts the formal introduction to his primary angelic mentor, an event that provided the specialized information needed to complete his trilogy on the Deva kingdom.

The author explains that the triptych Un Tratado Esotérico sobre los Ángeles—the major work he produced under the Master’s directive—was not written through intellectual speculation but through direct instruction from elevated devas. These contacts occurred on the astral and mental planes, where various angels provided him with the precise information needed to give coherence to subjects that, from the human perspective, seem abstract and elusive. Because of their importance, he feels compelled to describe these encounters with special reverence.

Some time after the Master had first suggested that he write about the angels, the author found himself in the Ashram, in conversation with Him. It was during this meeting that he was introduced to a deva of superior evolution. The Master presented the Being with disarming simplicity and a touch of affectionate charm: “This is the Angel Jezasel. He will help you whenever necessary during your deva investigations.”

Jezasel appeared in a form resembling the human shape, though enveloped in a radiant, shimmering sky‑blue aura that gradually softened as he approached. After merging his aura with the author’s—a gesture that serves as the angelic form of greeting—Jezasel spoke with serene authority. He explained that to receive information about the deva world, and to avoid the dangers of entering zones of intense fiery potency, the author must maintain quiet attention and tranquil waiting. In his present spiritual state, Jezasel said, he would learn far more through silence than through incessant questioning.

The angel emphasized that their world differs profoundly from the human one. To understand it, the author would need to work “in the angelic way”—simplifying the mind, expanding the heart, refining sensitivity and feeling. Only through this inner posture would the doors of the deva realm open, allowing him to perceive its laws with clarity and simplicity.

Then Jezasel asked him to remember him exactly as he appeared in that moment. As he spoke, his aura intensified dramatically, becoming a brilliant field of sky‑blue light in which his form seemed to dissolve. After a moment, he returned to his gentler radiance and continued: “This memory, engraved in your consciousness, will be the signal I perceive as your call for information or help. What we have established today is a kind of pact between our lives, both dedicated to the greater glory of the Great Brotherhood.”

He then merged his aura with the author’s once more, bowed respectfully to the Master, and vanished into the ether.

Before dismissing him, the Master instructed the author to follow Jezasel’s guidance closely. The angel had been chosen because of his profound experience of the immortal values of the deva world. He would guide and assist the author for as long as necessary, until he could reasonably explain the mystery of the devas and the necessity of unifying the lives of humans and angels—one of the great projects of Shamballa for this era of humanity.

Keynotes

  • The Meeting: The Master introduced the author to the Angel Jesazel within the Ashram, presenting him as a guide for all future "Deva investigations."

  • Jesazel's Appearance: The Angel appeared in a human-like form, enveloped in a resplendent, sparkling sky-blue aura. To greet the author, Jesazel "interfused" his powerful aura with the author's—the traditional manner of angelic salutation.

  • The Pact of Memory: Jesazel established a unique method of communication: the author was instructed to memorize the Angel's specific visual form and radiance. Recalling this image serves as a "telepathic invocation" that Jesazel perceives as a request for information or help.

  • Human-Deva Work: The Angel emphasized that to understand their world, the human mind must be simplified while the heart, sensitivity, and feelings are constantly expanded. This shift in consciousness is required to safely navigate areas of high "fiery potentiality."

Summary

Topic Jesazel's Instruction
Method of Learning Maintaining sosegada atención (quiet attentiveness) and tranquila espera (calm waiting).
Silence vs. Inquiry Silence is more productive than "incessant and vain questions" for the disciple's current state.
The Safety Rule Correct qualification of the Deva world through sensitivity prevents dangerous intrusions into intense energy zones.
Hierarchical Goal This partnership is a "pact" dedicated to the glory of the Great White Brotherhood and the fulfillment of the Shamballa project.

The Role of Jesazel

The Master confirmed that Jesazel was specifically chosen for his profound experience in the "immortal values" of the angelic world. His mission is to assist the author until the mystery of Deva life is well explained and the unification of the two kingdoms is advanced.
