17 Chapter XVII: My Work

In Chapter XVII, Vicente Beltrán-Anglada provides a bibliographic record of how he materialized the Master's directives through his published works and public lectures, specifically focusing on the "Threefold Project of Shamballa."

The author explains that, during the period following the Master’s directive, he wrote prolifically. He contributed articles to various Spanish magazines, but especially to the Argentine publication Sophia—later renamed Conocimiento. Under the series title Las Luces de mi Ashram, he sent articles for at least seven years. These writings eventually formed his first book, La Jerarquía, los Ángeles Solares y la Humanidad, published by Kier in Buenos Aires, where he already made reference to the angelic kingdom in several passages.

Soon after, the same publisher released his second book, Los Misterios del Yoga, which included a chapter on “Los Devas y las Actividades de Servicio,” describing the angels and the methods of invoking them. His third book, Conversaciones Esotéricas, also published by Kier, compiled a series of lectures delivered in Barcelona and contained extensive reflections on the lives of the higher angels of the planetary scheme and the mission of the lesser devas across all levels of Nature.

Yet it was between 1970 and 1984 that he truly began to fulfill the Master’s mandate. During those years he produced his major triptych, Un Tratado Esotérico sobre los Ángeles, consisting of three volumes: Las Fuerzas Ocultas de la Naturaleza, La Estructura Dévica de las Formas, and Los Ángeles en la Vida Social Humana. These works represented a deepening of his service, a more conscious response to the Ashramic instruction to reveal the angelic kingdom to humanity.

He hesitates to burden the reader with these details, but he explains that they are necessary to clarify the life of a spiritual disciple—one who is consecrated to the karmic dharma of his Ashram and who follows the hidden instructions of the Master who guides him.

In September 1985, following the Master’s guidance, he traveled to Argentina to give a series of lectures in major cities: Buenos Aires, Rosario, Santa Fe, Corrientes, Córdoba, Salta, and Bariloche. It was demanding work, yet fruitful. Between public and private gatherings, he delivered nearly fifty lectures before returning to Spain in late December.

Friends in Buenos Aires took charge of publishing his book Los Misterios de Shamballa, based on notes he had brought from Barcelona—notes prepared under the Master’s subtle prompting. With this publication, he had fulfilled two of the three great projects of the Brotherhood for the present era.

Then, in January 1988, he completed the third aspect of the Shamballa mandate with the publication of Magia Organizada Planetaria by Editorial Arbos Sciencia. This book addressed the organized magic the Master had foretold, the third pillar of the threefold project.

He asks whether this means his Ashramic work is now complete. The answer, he says, is no. What he has done so far is only part of the task he must carry out for the rest of his life. He has merely outlined certain aspects of the project of Shamballa. The work must continue along the same lines, though in deeper channels that time and experience will reveal.

Thus, everything expressed in this Diario Secreto de un Discípulo is intended not as a personal chronicle but as an encouragement—a stimulus for the faith and aspiration of contemporary seekers who strive to penetrate higher zones of spiritual awareness, to enter an Ashram of the Hierarchy, to establish conscious contact with their Master, and to step into the great initiatory current. This, he affirms, is the true foundation of the creative impulse that the great Custodians of the planetary Plan are introducing into the world for the inspiration of aspirants, intelligent minds, and all people of goodwill.

Keynotes

  • The Argentine Connection: For seven years, the author contributed a series of articles titled "The Lights of my Ashram" to the Argentine magazine SOPHIA (later renamed Conocimiento). These articles formed the basis of his first book.

  • Fulfilling the Threefold Project: He systematically addressed the three mandates from Shamballa through specific publications:

    1. Angelic Recognition: Addressed through his "Esoteric Treatise on Angels" (a trilogy including Hidden Forces of NatureThe Deva Structure of Forms, and Angels in Human Social Life).

    2. Shamballa: Addressed in his book The Mysteries of Shamballa, published following an intensive lecture tour in Argentina in 1985.

    3. Organized Magic: Addressed with the 1988 publication of Organized Planetary Magic.

  • Dharma and Service: The author views his entire literary and oratorical output not as a personal achievement, but as a fulfillment of his karmic dharma and obedience to the "affectionate insinuations" of his Master.

  • The Goal of the Diary: He clarifies that "Secret Diary of a Disciple" is intended to stimulate the faith of modern aspirants, helping them navigate their own path toward Hierarchy contact and the initiatory stream.
