20 Chapter XX: A Visit from the Bodhisattva

Earlier in the book, the author described the Human–Deva Unification Schools of the Hall of Knowledge, where disciples learn the sacred art of fusing their auras with those of the angels. This great project is directed by the Bodhisattva, the World Teacher—the Master of Masters, of Angels, and of Men. Though His evolution is immeasurably exalted, He does not hesitate to visit the Ashrams, taking personal interest in the spiritual training of the disciples.

The author recounts the first time he had the privilege of perceiving Him. It happened in the Master’s home. There was no announcement, no ceremonial introduction. The Bodhisattva simply materialized silently behind the large chair where the Master was seated. His presence was overwhelming in its simplicity. He looked at the disciples with eyes of astonishing blue—eyes filled with a love so profound that it seemed to dissolve all barriers of fear, doubt, or separation.

He spoke briefly with the Master, smiling gently as He listened to the report on the progress of the teaching. Then He turned His gaze toward the disciples once more, radiating a sweetness and tenderness that pierced the heart. With a graceful gesture of farewell, He vanished into the mystery of the ethers, leaving behind a lingering vibration of ineffable love.

The Master’s aura shone with a deep indigo brilliance, reflecting His own joy at the visit. The disciples instinctively gathered around Him in a semicircle, eager—like students awaiting the results of an examination—to hear what the Great Lord had said.

The Master conveyed the Bodhisattva’s message with clarity and solemnity:

“Strive to follow the rules of love that form the foundation of your training. Through the love you extend to every living being, you will attain Liberation. This is the great secret you must reveal to the outer world. The teachings will enter your lives through love more than through the exercise of the mind.”

These words, the Master explained, summarized the essence of the Ashram’s work and its impact on the disciples’ social and spiritual relationships. The Bodhisattva’s visit was not merely a blessing—it was a reminder that the entire path, from the first step to the final liberation, is built upon love as a living force, not as sentiment but as the dynamic energy that binds all kingdoms of nature.
